Thai e-Visa — official application portal
Thai e-Visa is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand’s official online visa application portal. Use it to explore visa categories, create an account, submit an application and supporting documents, pay the applicable fee, and check application status.
The portal includes visa-category information, frequently asked questions and an application manual. Check the requirements for your nationality, current location and intended purpose of stay before applying. The site states that applicants must be outside Thailand when applying; the responsible Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General may request additional documents or an interview.
Approved applicants receive an e-Visa confirmation by email. Follow the portal’s instructions for using that document when traveling. Application submission does not guarantee approval.
